Improving the quality of life of individuals with Down syndrome.

Medical Information

Unfortunately, children with Down syndrome can be at risk for a number of different health conditions. It is important for physicians to be familiar with The American Academy of Pediatrics publication, Clinical Report-- Health Supervision for Children with Down Syndrome  This report, published in 2011, is intended to guide pediatricians in their care for children with Down syndrome.

There are also a number of books which might be helpful for families.
